How much does it cost?
One selling fee, only paid when the car actually sells — put your reg into the calculator above and it shows you the exact numbers for your car: the sale price we'd aim for, our fee and what you'd walk away with. The fee covers checking the car over, photos, adverts and dealing with every buyer. If the car needs any repairs, they're separate: we quote you first and you pay for the work.
What if my car has a fault or some damage?
We put it right in our own workshop before the car goes on sale. You see the quote first and nothing happens without your OK — the repair cost is yours, but a sorted car sells faster and for noticeably more money.
Why is this better than a trade-in?
A dealer buying your car pays the trade price, which is thousands below what a private buyer pays. With Sale or Return your car sells at the full price, and after our selling fee you almost always end up with more in your pocket.
Can I keep driving the car while it's for sale?
No — the car stays with us so buyers can see it, test drive it and buy it the same day. That's a big part of why our cars sell quickly.
What if it doesn't sell?
You take your car back and pay no selling fee at all. Any repair work you approved is still yours to pay for — but the car comes back to you fixed and worth more than it was.
